This Indian Canyon engagement session had a classic car, vintage aesthetics and California vibes – what more could you ask for when celebrating your love to your new fiancĂ©? This session felt like something out of a Hollywood movie, and I am living for it!
Albert and Mallory have been together since middle school and we all actually grew up going to school together. I went to school with Albert since elementary school and Mallory since middle school. It was definitely a blast from the past seeing them and being able to capture these engagement photos for them!
When Mallory first reached out I was very excited to be considered as their wedding photographer. She explained how she loved the photos from the styled shoot I put together earlier this year at the windmills in Palm Springs and wanted to do something similar for their engagement photos.
This was super exciting for me as I always love when clients have a vision for their images they are trusting me to capture and create for them. After booking me for their wedding we went straight to planning mode, I gave them a few dates I had available for the rest of the year.
Additionally, I was able to coordinate with Coachella Valley Classic Cars to rent a vintage car to incorporate into their Indian Canyon engagement session. The whole planning process was very smooth and when the shoot day came along Mallory and Albert brought their A-Game.
Their outfits fit the aesthetic and vibe perfectly. Mallory even made a small bouquet for herself out of baby’s breath. All the details tied together perfectly and the shoot went great. We had such a great time, catching up and reminiscing about our childhoods. I was so happy to be able to capture their love and giving them a little preview of what to expect when working with me on their big day. I’m so excited to capture their wedding come next year!
Indian Canyon is located in Palm Springs California and comprises of Andreas Canyon, Murray Canyon and Palm Canyon. Here you will find crystal clear streams, waterfalls, palm trees, and mountain views. Indian Canyon is one of the best places to hike in Greater Palm Springs as it has a vast array of landscapes to enjoy.
“Albert and I are speechless! You did such an amazing job with these photos and we were so not expecting to have them back same day. Let along a few hours later!! You are so awesome and we are so excited that you are our wedding photographer. You captured all the right moments and we are so so in love with these images!! Thank you a million!”
