Alex and Michael’s Menifee California Wedding

Upon facetiming Alex during our consult call I knew I would love working with her. She is an absolute sweetheart. Through the planning process and photographing their wedding day – Alex and I have since become friends.

I first met Michael and Alex when doing their engagement photos which ended up being a family session with their little girl who is absolutely adorable. The love shared between Alex and Michael is so sweet. I knew their wedding was going to be a dream.

The Orchard has onsite ‘getting-ready’ rooms located mere steps away from the primary event space. I love that this venue has onsite getting ready spaces, making it very convenient for photography purposes. Having to drive to multiple locations on your wedding day can be confusing for your vendors and bridal party so having the ‘getting-ready’ space at the venue is incredibly valuable.

There is a full-service bar situated on the perimeter of the garden. This offers optimal convenience for your guests during your wedding reception. 

Additionally, this venue offers what they call ‘Bliss Benefits’ this gives couples discounts on: attire, transportation, hotels, and more.

A Photographers Dream

The Orchard by Wedgewood is such a magnificent venue. I absolutely adore the pond on the property. It makes for a magical backdrop for portraits. It even makes its own rainbow which I thought added to the fairytale-like ambience.

The gazebo is a great addition to this venue as well. When photographing it from the side of the pond and getting an overall view of the venue it looks stunning. Additionally, I love the tunnel that lights-up, it is placed right before entering the venue. Which makes for such a unique experience for guests. At night the photos of this are incredible.

Overall, this venue has some really beautiful features to it and all of these ‘photo-worthy’ spots are centrally located. Making it convenient to walk around and get a chance to photograph the bride and groom at each of them.
